Membership at MCL
You are cordially invited to lease a private humidor at Madison Cigar & Lounge. Upon approval of application and receipt of payment, your box name will be engraved on a plaque and placed on your humidor. Leasing a private humidor entitles you to the following valuable benefits:
- 10% OFF all purchases at the Cigar Bar.
- Guaranteed seating for parties of 4 or less with 24 hr reservation.
- No minimum.
- No corkage charge.
- Cigar Bar available for rent for daytime meetings/functions at a 25% discount.
- Invitations to wine tasting and other special functions.
- 5 house blend cigars per locker.
Requisites
- Humidors are leased on an annual basis.
- You must be over the age of 21 to lease a humidor and smoke cigars at Madison Cigar & Lounge.
- Each single humidor may be shared by up to two members. And double humidors may be shared up to 5 members. Access to the humidor(s) are limited only to those names that appear on the agreement.
- There is a $50 charge to change the wording on your engraved brass plaque.
- Humidor holder agrees to refrain from placing any cigar or other product in his humidor that may violate any federal or state laws.
- Humidor holders are responsible for the contents of their humidor.
- Madison Cigar & Lounge reserves the right to open any humidor for the purpose of maintenance.
- Madison Cigar & Lounge reserves the right to revoke the lease of any person/company that does not abide by the policies determined by its management.
- Access to humidors are allowed only during Madison Cigar & Lounge’s hours of operation. Madison Cigar & Lounge reserves the right to close for private functions at which time access to humidors may not be available.
- Madison Cigar & Lounge reserves the right to alter or change the private humidor-leasing plan at anytime based on NYC regulations.
- Applicable sales tax will be added to the price of all humidor leases.
- Full payment is due at the time of signing.
- Upon expiration of a humidor rental every attempt will be made to contact the box holder based on the information given to us at the time of agreement. Humidors that are more than one month overdue will be emptied and made available for rent. The cigars in these humidors will be stored in our general humidor storage for a two month period from the time the humidor rental has expired, after which we be forced to dispose of them.
- Humidors are subject to availability.
Please be advised that we continually monitor the temperature and humidity in our personal humidors so that they are at optimum levels. We cannot, however be responsible for product that is stored in these lockers.
